RASH attack - Shrimp (sugpo) edition

early that morning, nakareceive ako ng text from a company na inapplyan ko na if ever magdrop-by ako sa office nila that day, pero on the same day may interview nanaman ako for a printing company sa may Quezon Ave. pero after lunch pa daw mga 2pm-onwards.

late nakong bumangon nitong araw na ito, dahil hapon pa naman ang interview kaya naman tustos akong manuod ng Showtime habang kumakain ng brunch ko. hinandaan ako ni Ate Jo ng Chicken Hotdog (yung ulam nung breakfast) at SINIGANG NA HIPON. dahil iisang piraso nalamang ang hotdog at 4pcs na sugpo ang nilagay, sarap na sarap ako at naubos ko ang lahat.

mga 12:30pm na and i need to go dahil QC pa iyon at kinda malayo, andito narin sa bahay sila mommy and daddy, after i received my allowance that time daretso nakong bumyahe until i reached quezon ave. ng almost 3pm.

pagkapasok ko sa printing house, andun lamang ako pinag-antay sa receiving area sa tabi ng guard na wala lamang electric fan o aircon w/c super init talaga at naka corporate attire pa ako nun, kaya naman bumubuhos na ang pawis ko at hindi lamang butil-butil. nakaramdam nadin ako ng init sa mukha at tenga.

around 3:40pm natapos yung interview at medyo namumula nadin ang mukha ko, kaya naman pagdating ko sa may mrt station --- bumili ako ng cold drink at baka sa init lamang at super init sa printing company.

papunta akong ayala, para puntahan yung isa ko pang pending application, nasa mrt na ako at super init at pula ng mukha ko. tumapat na nga ako sa may aircon at kaya naman pagbaba ko ng ayala ay bumili na'ko ng pulbos at naghilamos sa 2 cr sa SM Makati at Glorietta at talagang ayaw mawala ng mainit sa mukha at bumili na ako nun ng FRO-YO (frozen yoghurt) para to cool me down, pero di effective. DAMN! so i need to rush na at umuwi para magpacheck-up... hindi nadin tumuloy sa isa pang appointment...

sa MOA ako sumakay ng van, at uminom nadin ng CLARITIN to be sure at kumalat na ang rashes ko sa dibdib at super init talaga. nakakatakot at baka isiping may tigdas ako. i already told my mom na ipacheck-up ako o pupunta na lamang akong hospital na malapit.

at ngayon lang nadiscover ang allergy ko sa SUGPO at before naman ay wala

lagi nalamang napupuna ng aking mga kaibigan ang aking ilong, hindi lamang malaki ang mga butas nito, matangos, kungdi pati na lamang yung mga maliliit na detalye, alam ko hindi lang naman ako ang meron nito, kungdi lahat tayo.

wag na tayong magkaila, lahat naman tayo nagkakaroon ng black heads at white heads, diba ang dyahe nun nuh? eh hindi naman talaga malinis sa labas ng bahay, kahit saan may dumi, lalo na kung open pa ang pores natin sa mukha, tulad ko...

tadtad ako ng maliliit na duming iyon, pero di naman masyadong halata, pangit lang kasi, kasi rosy cheeks ako, tapos eh pagtingin sa ilong ko, kita mo ang blackheads na 'yun...

so one day, sinunod ko ang payo ng aking kaibigan na si DEZ na bumili nga ng PORES TAPE sa watson's. bumili ako den i tried it that night....

it's true na effective ang mga pores tape, at nawala nga yung mga black heads ko, ayun mga hair-like sila, makikita mo kapag natuyo yung cream...

super refreshing, so after that kailangan kong dampian ng yelo, para magclose uli yung pores ko... yipeee!

dear nickelodeon-asia,

ako’y natutuwa at gumawa kayo ng marathon for AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER from book 1 to 3, yun nga lang kanina, ito na yung nasa excitement level nako, dahil nagkaharap na si Aang at si Ozai, pero ito yun eh, ito yun, alam kong 4 or 5 episodes a day lang ang marathon niyo, pero naman kung kelan ang pinaka-last chapter hindi niyo po ini-air, so that means i should wait for thursday or sunday for the most awaited final chapter? please tell me… puro ganun nga naman ang mangyayari eh, sayang naman, last na nga eh, naputol tuloy yung fire ng excitement ko, ngayon ko lang kasi mapapanood ang AVATAR ng tuloy tuloy…

patience is a virtue, kaya naman, hahantayin ko ang thursday or sunday to watch that last episode… o kaya naman i-ddl ko nalang :P

daig ko pa ang estudyante --- job interviews/exams edition

grabe almost everyday lumuluwas ako ng Cavite to reach either Ortigas, Pasay, Paranaque, and mostly at Makati, it is almost two weeks, every now and then i will receive a message for an interviews this day and that day, and also there were some were referrals from ProAlliance and JobsDB Prestige, some are in CSR position, some are in Sales, and especially some are in Marketing, but hoping to have/be part of Marketing dept. especially in events…

back in track, sometimes, there were some instances, there will be an overlap of schedules of interviews… everyday journey, everyday travel, everyday hopes, everyday walkathon, everyday prayers…

in-ramp speculations (COUNTER)

one night, while browsing jobstreet.com, i saw an ad, that (Suyen Corp.) BENCH clothings has an available position for Ad & Promo Assistant, so immediately then i emailed them my resume, and try if im qualified for the position…

then last night, i received a sms noting that i’m going to have an interview/exam earlier today around 10am at their hr office at tolentino st. pasay, and also the sender also described how to get to their office from libertad.

earlier this morning, i helped my job hunting body dez to go to CT Link’s office for her interview, then i ride a cab reaching Pasay, coz it was almost 10, and on the directions given by the sms sender and also the tumblr people who work for BENCH…

exactly at 10:05am, i reached their office, while i think it is a hr office/hr agency only for BENCH, and the warehouse also…(?)

while entering the place, tha lady guard asked me if im a walk-in applicant or scheduled one, then she asked me to go to measurer to measure my height, she did also this to all applicants…

at the entrance, you will see a huge line bunch of people, you and i might think, that there will be a vtr for BENCH, because you will see those people on their casual attire (there were some, you may think they will go to a debut party or at a bar), and good looking also, and also have the height and built of being a model…

at first that was i thought, until we entered the office and saw those people outside were also applicants, but not for office positions, but for branch and warehouse positions, but really i thought there will be an audition / vtr for being a model of the company, because i will try it for myself… :P

Series of Fortunate Events

this was last tuesday…

and started at 1am when dez texted me that she will have an interview at intramuros and she invited me to watch Cinemalaya after…

then i planned a solution so that i can watch Cinemalaya 6 entries that day, so i told my mom that i’m going to apply that morning at Makati around 10:30am when i went to our shop.

so i traveled going to Manila by bus going to Buendia or Gil Puyat ave. to reach the office of my target agency that i’m going to apply. but as the time goes by, the E&A bus conductor said that their bus is going to stop under the overpass of Buendia so we need to be unload before it.

but there were these passengers that were going to stop at Baclaran, but they were to late at the dropping zone, and they need to ride a LRT unit off to Monumento so the conductor requested that they will drop to the nearest LRT station but i suggested to be drop at Buendia, because it is the last stop then. as we reached to Buendia it was around 11:40am, but the group of passengers that i’m talking about is not familiar to the place, so they were asking me about what they are going to ride to reach the LRT station, or how to get there, but i suggested to ride a bus or jeep from the corner to the station, but road was full packed of buses and private vehicles, it was so jammed…

right then while we were walking at the same path going to the corner of the avenue, i was making ‘para’ or calling some taxi cab so that we could reach the station on time, it took more than 5 minutes that i got a cab, so first i suggested that cab was for them, and i will call another cab for me, but suddenly grandma said: “sumabay kana samin…” so i did what she said, due also to time constraints, because it was almost lunch. as we going to reach the LRT station, and also in the cab, im chatting with the group, like getting to know stuffs… right then we had a small argument who is going to pay the taxi cab fare, i said that i’m the one who called the cab, so i should pay the fare, but grandma said: ok lang naman daw, kasi may pera naman daw sila. but at the end, i’m the one who won who is going to pay the fare, btw fare causes only for about Php40 for 4 of us.

it was lunch time when dez texted me that she was going to take her lunch w/ her co applicant, and also that time i think to go somewhere else because it was already lunch time, so texted jules to have a lunch with him, because his class that day was til 12:30pm only.

so we rode the same LRT unit, but grandma was the one who paid my fare that time (nakakahiya naman talaga, nakikipagtalo pa nga ako, kasi naman mura lang naman ang fare papuntang central station, pero nauna na siya sa ticket booth, kaya wala na akong nagawa). even at the platform of the LRT we had a little conversation about Cavite, because they were from Tagaytay, and that day they need to Caloocan for her to have her dental check-up (grabe ang layo pa ng dentista ni nanay…)

we waited for the 3rd to come so we could fit in… as we reached the Central Station, i waved a goodbye and safe trip for them… while walking at the path going to the jeepney stop, beside the Lawton/Park ‘n Ride terminal, while im preparing my jeepner fare, someone called me from the back, and giving me a hundred bucks, he said that i fell it from my pocket, i’m really thankful for him, that he returned and gave me my bill, the only thing i remembered about him, that he is a student of Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU), a student from college of hospitality, if am i correct? KUYA! who ever you Maraming maraming salamat po sa ginawa niyo, isa kang bayani! pag nakita kita uli, may medal ka sakin! :)

kala ko magiging panatag na ako, ngunit may mga gugulo parin dahil wala parin mga katunayan kung itutuloy pa ba o hindi...

talaga nararamdaman ko na nagkukulang sa impormasyon ang mga tao kung gaganapin nga ba talaga ang darating na eleksyon ngayong oktubre, kasi halatang ang lahat ay nagaadjust pa sa mga bagong opisyales na naka-upo at nagseserbisyo, at halos laman ng balita ay tungkol sa bagong admin at mga ginagawa nito…

kung mapapansin may natitira na lamang na 104 days (ayon sa counter sa comelec website —- www.comelec.gov.ph) bago sumapit ang barangay eleksyon sa october 25, 2010, at kasalukuyan na nagaganap ang rehistro para sa SK at Barangay elections simula pa noong July 1 hanggang July 31, 2010…

naglabas nadin ng resolution ang comelec kung paano hahatiin o iclacluster ang nasabing synchronized elections (ayon sa comelec website)… madami din kasing tumututol na ituloy, pero may mga bangayan din na ituloy, pero ako talaga aminado akong huwag na muna ituloy, bagong adjustment nanaman yan sa mga bagong opisyales eh, at pera na dapat for development projects, dahil malaki nadin ang nagastos ng ating bansa sa naganap na May 10, 2010 elections, pero manual ang gagamitin sa gaganaping eleksyon sa oktubre…

pero ano ba talaga, nagkakaroon ba ng agenda setting theory ang mga media… haist, pero sa congreso kaya ano na ang bangayan ukol sa topik na ito?
